Leica is a refreshingly unusual company in the modern camera industry – weird, wonderful, gleefully anachronistic but never, ever, boring. As such, Leica is one of those companies that I've always enjoyed writing about.

Leica M10 Review
Leica has introduced a new rangefinder camera to its legendary M series. Rangefinders use a style of focusing that was first introduced over a century ago, with focus achieved by converging the views taken from two windows mounted on the front.

Leica M10
If you don't follow Leica M cameras closely, it might be hard to understand what the fuss over the M10 is about. But for those who do, the new camera represents a big step forward.
Pros:
- Expanded ISO range
- Improved viewfinder
- Wi-Fi connectivity
Cons:
- No image stabilization

When briefed on the Leica M10P, I was proven that it is the quietest Leica camera ever made. In fact, it boasts the quietest mechanical shutter that we've ever worked with. Photojournalists are amongst those who would value something like this coupled with the WiFi capabilities and the touch screen...

Leica M10-P (The Quietest Leica Ever) Review
For more than 100 years, Leica cameras have been heralded as the most covert, inconspicuous image capturing instruments known to the world of photojournalism. Now Leica has introduced the Leica M10-P digital rangefinder, an ultra-stealth version of the M10 that ratchets up the very definition of...

Leica M10-P Black - BRAND NEW review
Revered by professional photographers, Leica cameras are regarded as a royalty of sorts. Part of that awe stems from the fact that most Leica cameras are assembled by hand. The M series is reportedly made up of 1,000 individual components put together by highly skilled craftsmen in Germany, where...

Leica M10-P
The M10-P looks more like a classic Leica from the 60s than the standard edition of the M10. For some shooters that's enough to justify the premium. For me, the biggest upgrade here isn't the aesthetics or the touch screen, but the new shutter.
Pros:
- Big, bright optical viewfinder with focusing patch
- Compatible with lenses dating back to the 1930s
- Very quiet focal plane shutter
- 24MP full-frame image sensor
- Dust- and splash-resistant build
- Add-on EVF available
- Wi-Fi
Cons:
- Expensive
- Rangefinders are not for everyone
- No video recording
- No Android support for Wi-Fi

Leica M10-P Review
The Leica M10-P is a more discrete version of the M10, with less obvious branding, a quieter shutter, and a new touch LCD. We all knew the Leica M10-P ($7,995, body only) was coming. The company has put out a special "P" version of every iteration of its flagship full-frame rangefinder, typically after demand for the standard edition has been satisfied. The P version of last year's M10 doesn't just look prettier, it also features a redesigned mechanical shutter that's noticeably quieter and a touch-sensitive LCD. Everything else is the same—the 24MP image sensor and processor, the slim design that matches the dimensions of analog M cameras, and an improved optical viewfinder. It carries a price premium over the M10, currently selling for $7,295, but if you value the stealth afforded by the understated design and quieter shutter, and aren't stretching your budget to afford a Leica in the first place, you'll find the extra cost to be worth it. Design: Goodbye Red Dot As with other cameras that bear the P designation—the M9-P and the M-P (Typ 240)—the design of the M10-P is a throwback to the days when ...
