Fun to look at
This is fun to look at, and is quite a pretty game…however it is fairly short, and the end leaves you wondering why you invested time in it.

Hands-on: Killzone: Shadowfall
Killzone: Shadowfall takes place seven years after the end of Killzone 3. The Helghast have moved to a new planet, and everything is peaceful.

Why is this game the best game possible for the PS4 launch I'll tell you why. First of all, it is gorgeous. Not only the technical part of the graphics, but also the artistic direction. Everything is just beautiful, and I caught myself quite a lot of time just looking at the view.

- Storyline is quite dour and not as smart as it seems to think it is
- Some turret and sky-diving set-pieces are frustrating and badly designed

Shadow Fail
HIGH The multiplayer can provide good times, though the campaign doesn't. LOW The sadistically awful freefall section littered with instant death moments. WTF Why can the protagonist suddenly fire rockets out of his face whilst airborne?
Pros:
- The multiplayer can provide good times
- though the campaign doesn't
Cons:
- The sadistically awful freefall section littered with instant death moments

Killzone: Shadow Fall review
When the PlayStation 4 was announced, it was the Shadow Fall video that had me most excited out of any of the games they showed off back in February. The opening sequence of the single-player campaign does two things - it shows off how impressive the PS4 is with amazing graphics, and how poorly...
