Killzone: Shadow Fall PS4 Review
I have to admit that I haven't been all that excited for this new era in gaming. This is probably the first time where I have genuinely felt apathetic about what to play on launch day.

Killzone: Shadow Fall – review
Killzone is a series that was lauded as a Halo killer when it debuted on the PlayStation 2. The series has never quite managed to live up to those lofty claims. Now two console generations on, the franchise arrives to showcase the next-gen power of the PlayStation 4.

Great Launch Game!
This is a very intense first-person shooter. I've been a COD player for quite sometime and Killzone: Shadow fall is my first introduction to the Killzone franchise. There are a few basic instructions during the earlier levels, but after that you're on your own.
Pros:
- Challenging
- Fun To Play
- Good Audio
- Graphics
- Multiplayer
Cons:
- Poor Instructions

Beauty And The Beast
If the term ‘mixed-bag' hadn't been invented yet, it's precise meaning would have been defined forever more as ‘Killzone: Shadow Fall.' As in, ‘the film was pretty funny but my god were the action sequences awful, it was a bit of a Killzone: Shadow Fall.'
Pros:
- Awesome sound
- At times stunning to look at
- Satisfying combat
Cons:
- Repetitive levels
- OWL not used enough
- Not enough original ideas

Killzone: Shadow Fall PlayStation 4 Review
Killzone was one of the hottest games for the PlayStation 2, and the epic sequel that was Killzone 2 followed it with a great force. The series had a slow, gritty and powerful vibe that is a far cry from the frantic run and gun of games like Call of Duty and I absolutely love it.
Pros:
- Campaign offers great story and a good 9-10 hours gameplay on normal difficulty
- Graphics are some of the best the PS4 has to offer
- Online multiplayer is competitive and entertaining
- Good integrated use of the touch pad
Cons:
- Quick time events are dull and tacked on
- Steep learning curve may put off some players

Killzone: Shadow Fall
Much of the hardcore gaming community on the PS3 side slated Killzone 3 for digressing too much from what made it such an addictive first person shooter. Since then, a lot of these players have moved on to bigger and in many ways, better shooters in the same genre such as CoD and Battlefield.

Killzone: Shadow Fall review: through the eyes of a newcomer
Prior to the release of Killzone: Shadow Fall on PlayStation 4, Guerilla Games' Steven Ter Heide, game director, called it a great entry point to the franchise. For gamers new to PlayStation family, this game was supposed to present a "fresh start" for the franchise as most of the characters and...

Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer review
Shadow Fall's multiplayer singlehandedly makes it a worthwhile purchase. A couple of things keep the mode from being truly great, but given the state of the competition this year, Killzone's multiplayer deserves to carve a wider niche.
Pros:
- Outstanding map design
- Warzone mode has been updated and is still glorious
- Visually impressive, despite motion blur effects
Cons:
- No voice chat
- No clan support
- A very strange revive mechanic
- Hideous interface
- Too much anti-aliasing

Ordered chaos
A solid game that definitely has an audience. Might lack replay value, could be too short or there are some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.
