Great game, I've palyed..

I haven't played many games, but I pretty love the concept and the basis of this game. I think though the graphics are not great, they seemed pretty well fine for me. The best aspect about the game is that it is a third-person shooting game. I would have hated it, had it been a first-person...

"Cool concept lots of fun"

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it, different to his usual game and good value. Plus its fun for me to watch him play :)

Loving hanging out!

We use this every single day in the morning and at night. It is a saving grace for me with scoliosis and arthritis in my spine and shoulders. I could not do with out it now that I have it!

Attractive Design; Durable

Inversion

In summary, Inversion is a pretty good shooter that is worth being looked at by any fan of the genre. It is an enjoyable playthrough but not something that screams for a repeat performance.

Zero gravity segments are fun; Gravity manipulation is strong as a concept

Sporadic difficulty spikes; Poor multiplayer matchmaking; Awful AI in partner

Inversion review

Picture the scene. Birds are singing, the sun is shining. You're heading home at lunch to see the wife and kid. All is well in the world. That is until you turn the next corner to be greeted by explosions, gun fire, big ugly monsters and objects floating in midair.

Vector Shifts are good fun; So is grabbing an enemy from afar.

Not enough Vector Shifts in the game; Too many Zero Gravity areas.

Inversion

One of the first things your Action-Man-look-alike protagonist in Inversion says is "It will all be over soon. Soon enough." Unfortunately, he's dead wrong. Even though this run-of-the-mill third person cover shooter isn't particularly long, it becomes an exercise in tedium long before the credits...

Inversion (PS3) Review

After a melodramatic opening filled with playable flashbacks and texture lag, Inversion rewinds time to place you in the shoes of Vanguard City policeman Davis Russel moments before an unidentified military force invade the city equipped with gravity-bending technology.

Inversion Review (PS3,XBOX360)

Another day, another third-person shooter. You should be excited, though, because you have dominion over the power of gravity... And stuff. I don't know. It's hard for me to get excited about yet another shooter that thinks it can get by on the strength of just one quirk.

If there's one thing you can say for this game, it's that it learned the good points of its predecessors well; The controls are slick and natural, probably because we've been gaming with roughly the same shooter control set since the release of the Xbox 360.

The story is just..; Oh man; The characters are so, so weak; You have the ultra-dramatic harried father figure as your protagonist, and a typical stalwart companion who follows you around and generally sucks in battle.
