I put this bad boy in my old sony VAIO FZ285u (2007 model) and the difference in performance is insane! The laptop boots up in seconds instead of endless minutes.

Although more expensive than some of the other SSDs on the market, I feel the price is warranted. I've owned OCZ drives and both of them failed within the first 6 months. I also own a Samsung, which is in the same price range as the Intel and have not had any problems with that drive either.

This thing is "off the chain" fast; I'll never own a traditional hard drive for anything but storage again; I can't say enough good things about this drive; It's fast and works; Installation was a piece of cake and it took the Windows 7 Image I created to migrate the date without issue.

Size; At 120GB, this drive is small; But SSDs aren't really designed for storage and are best when used as boot drives; This is perfect for a client / file server environment, or when you pair it with a 2 or 3TB traditional HDD

Picked this up for the latest machine I put together, I'm mostly sticking to Intel and Samsung Pro these days. I've had about 3 out of 5 OCZ SSD's die on me at the 1.5/2 yr mark. The few builds I've done with Intel SSD'd are still going nice and solid.

Buy one ! the rotating disc hard drive is all but redundant except for storage, at the price they are now theres no excuse especially if your running a sata 6.0 Gb/s motherboard.I,ve used SSD drives since they appeared and tried various manafacturers..

Improved Windows games and application speed. Only minor issue, I had to reinstall Windows from scratch since the migration didn't allow to migrate partition only.

It works on sata 1 i did test it 120mb/s read :)) No seriously i should update my system Nice drive 15min for windows 7 install I feel little to no difference at boot time 17sec but seriously i should update my system
