Excellent tutorial and training system and elegantly simplified control system that's fun for both newbies and experts; Some hilarious arena transitions and super moves

The combat is nowhere near as technical or nuanced as other 2D fighters; Some characters are much more interesting to play as than others; Weak cut scene graphics

Can't save game (files corrupted, even with the first save) ... work fine unless you want to save your progress or any accomplishments.

A few years ago Nether Realm took their well known Mortal Kombat series and combined it with the world of DC Comics creating the rather clumsily titled Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe .

I had fun playing Injustice , but not as much as I wanted too.  The combos and hits have a cadence and feeling to them that I've only found in NetherRealm games.  It's a sort of slower, rhythmic feeling and it's not too difficult to pull off useful and reasonably powerful combos.

After countless encounters with the world's biggest boy scout in multiple generations worth of poor video game tie-ins, I've been itching to punch that spit-curl off Superman's face.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is finally here home consoles, and if you haven't had a chance to experience it yet, there is an iOS version available for free. To be clear, this is not a full fighting game experience in the slightest.

I'm not the world's greatest beat-em-up player. When I play online I can just about hold my own against those ranked towards the middle. I can beat the AI on the default difficulty setting without any major issues.
