Injustice: Gods Among Us (Xbox 360)

Marvel Comics' lucrative partnership with Capcom produced several of the most beloved fighting games in the genre, starting with X-Men: Children of the Atom and concluding with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds .

Solid fighting action; Great super moves; Highly cinematic storytelling.

Frequently weak dialogue; Too many dark environments; Some weak CGI scenes; Unblockable environmental attacks may prove troublesome

Injustice Gods Among Us

If you're a huge DC Comics fanboy or girl than developers NetherRealm Studios (Mortal Kombat) have created the perfect game for you with Injustice Gods Among Us . This is not the first time that NetherRealm Studios have used the characters from DC Comics before because only just a few years ago,...

Amazing!

The game is absolutely amazing! I was never a big fan of mortal kombat games and streetfighter. I always found them to difficult, but this is something else! It doesn't have a set difficulty which is good because it changes automatically if it is too easy and the same but if too hard.

Injustice: Gods Among Us (Xbox 360) Review

Mortal Kombat was one of my favourite games of 2011. With exceptional gameplay, very cool x-ray moves, and fun multiplayer modes, it renewed my love for the fighting genre. Needless to say, I've been anxiously awaiting NetherRealm Studios next project Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Injustice: Gods Among Us - Review

Who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman ? The smart money would say that Superman's godly strength and resilience would shrug off anything that The Dark Knight could throw at him, but if Bruce Wayne used his considerable fortune to buy a large chunk of Kryptonite, who's to say The Man...

Over 20 characters to play; Tells a surprisingly good tale; Harley Quinn looks great

Online is a bit hit and miss; Plays it a bit safe in places; Needs more Swamp Thing

Injustice: Gods Among Us

After countless encounters with the world's biggest boy scout in multiple generations worth of poor video game tie-ins, I've been itching to punch that spit-curl off Superman's face.

+ Good single player + Lots of fanservice + Good online support

- Problematic game control - Too many gimmicks - Mediocre graphics

Injustice: Gods Among Us

What would happen if Superman snapped? It's a question that's been asked and answered seemingly dozens of times in DC comics, and Injustice has its own version: after Joker tricks him into murdering Lois Lane and annihilating Metropolis, Supes adopts a zero-tolerance attitude toward conflict and...

+ Explosive; over-the-top action makes it one of the most enjoyable 2D fighters in years; + Engrossing; slickly produced story mode

? Is it just us; or is Wonder Woman's head way too small for her body

Injustice: Gods Among Us review

With Superman, there's always that underlying tension: What if one day, he just snapped? What kind of havoc could the all-powerful Kryptonian wreak on mankind? You'll get to experience his terrifying strength firsthand in Injustice: Gods Among Us, the latest 2.5D fighter from NetherRealm Studios...

Incredible roster and story mode; Smooth online play; Fan-service aplenty

Some spam-heavy characters; Controls initially feel rigid; Costumes suffer from DLC overkill

Injustice: Gods Among Us review: Crackingly overblown entertainment - while it lasts

Fittingly, it's difficult to tell if Injustice: Gods Among Us is a hero or villain. Loose mechanics mean its long-term appeal is limited, but fans of the source material with love the playful way it toys with the DC Universe.

When it comes to superheroes-turned-street fighters, DC Comics' stable of superfriends have always received the short end of the stick. While Marvel enjoys the steady success of Capcom's legendary Vs. series, the likes of Justice League Task Force and Mortal Kombat vs.

Brutal presentation makes you feel powerful; New mechanics build upon Mortal Kombat's foundation in creative ways; S.T.A.R.

Minimal educational tools; Disappointingly dull story; Lacks replay support
