Injustice Gods Among Us review

I'm not the world's greatest beat-em-up player. When I play online I can just about hold my own against those ranked towards the middle. I can beat the AI on the default difficulty setting without any major issues.

Lots of single-player content; story; ‘Clash breakers'; loading times

Balancing issues; stage transitions

Injustice: Gods Among Us

The idea of taking beloved superheroes from the pages of comic books and churning out a fighting game isn't anything new (Capcom's been operated that racket since the mid '90s), and it's the second time NetherRealm has attempted to do right by DC Comics. Unlike Mortal Kombat vs.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review

" Injustice: Gods Among Us " is an interesting piece of fan service, a good fighter, and a brilliant game. While it edges towards accessible in both its fighting mechanic, and its comic book references, this is one of the rare occasions when balance has lead to a better overall game, instead of a...

"A Fantastic Game!!"

I played the demo which was the reason I purchased the game in the first place but it was much better than I expected. The game has an epic story line and the game play is just awesome plus the use of the DC characters is done exceptionally.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review (PS3)

After producing the very successful Mortal Kombat reboot back in 2011, NetherRealm once again tried its hand within the DC Comics universe and has now released Injustice: Gods Among Us, a fighting game dedicated completely to the super-powered characters from comic books made by DC.

+Impressive story; +Great roster of characters; +Lots of attention to detail in terms of design

-Difficulty curve is unbalanced in S.T.A.R; Labs, -A few glitches in terms of animations, -Matchmaking needs some work

Finish Him!

NetherRealm Studios has succeeded in providing a captivating single-player story within Injustice: Gods Among Us. The amount of gameplay provided displays a well-developed title that offers a memorable fighting experience to the gaming community.

+ Action packed story mode + Caters to gamers of all levels + Replayability due to extensive amount of content + Inclusion of mini-games throughout story mode

- Some cutscenes lack detail and texture - Slight unbalance of characters - Limitation of one super move for each character

Injustice: Gods Among Us Xbox 360 Review

This week's review sees me battle it out in the guise of some of the most iconic superheroes and villains of our time, each of which have been cherry picked by NetherRealm Studios from the vast array of DC Comics inhabitants.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

None of this really gets in the way of the game however, except when you've lost to Aquaman and his f***ing trident for the sixth time and have "accidentally" smashed your controller into your TV. Despite not having enough challenging unlockables to aim for between the story mode and S.T.A.R.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review – PS3

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the team behind 2011's Mortal Kombat reboot, Injustice: Gods Among Us sounds like a DC fan's wet dream come true. What could be more ...

Easy to pick-up and play, even if you're not a big fighting game fan because of easy-to-remember three-button combinations; The dialogue will make you laugh at times and seeing each character's super attack move is entertaining.

Hardcore gamers may find the story mode to be too short, offering around 3-4 hours to gameplay – That's assuming you're watching the cutscenes and taking around 15 minutes to complete each superhero's story; The story itself is somewhat confusing and the "Clash" system is a dud.

Injustice: Gods Among Us review

From the studio behind Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game featuring an extensive roster of DC superheroes and villains. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Maybe Gareth Talbot has some answers.

A fighting game story mode that actually contains a story! Intuitive; straightforward gameplay that doesn't sacrifice depth.

Wonder Woman's character model looks like a pair of tits on a stick; Lacks tutorials for more advanced play.
