A few years ago Nether Realm took their well known Mortal Kombat series and combined it with the world of DC Comics creating the rather clumsily titled Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe .

Fun game to play. Just not very long, unless you have the patience to replay the same thing over and over.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a silly name for a game focused on one of the most disastrous "What Ifs" in DC Comics: What would happen if Superman lost his mind? The answer is create a menacing one-world government fueled by his descent into madness.

Characters in Injustice build individual fighting styles off of the same basic set of controls; One quick combo for Superman has the same controls as a similar attack for Batman, but only the speed of the strike differs.

This game is awesome. No way to get around it. It's innovative, it's new, it has great graphics,not to mention visually appealing(and interactive) backgrounds. And best of all, it's not just MK VS. DC Universe with just DC characters. It's a whole new thing.

Imagine a world where the lines between good and evil have been blurred, where iconic heroes like Superman and Aquaman use their powers to control the world, rather than keep the peace.

I had fun playing Injustice , but not as much as I wanted too.  The combos and hits have a cadence and feeling to them that I've only found in NetherRealm games.  It's a sort of slower, rhythmic feeling and it's not too difficult to pull off useful and reasonably powerful combos.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is finally here home consoles, and if you haven't had a chance to experience it yet, there is an iOS version available for free. To be clear, this is not a full fighting game experience in the slightest.

Easy to pick-up and play, even if you're not a big fighting game fan because of easy-to-remember three-button combinations; The dialogue will make you laugh at times and seeing each character's super attack move is entertaining.

Hardcore gamers may find the story mode to be too short, offering around 3-4 hours to gameplay – That's assuming you're watching the cutscenes and taking around 15 minutes to complete each superhero's story; The story itself is somewhat confusing and the "Clash" system is a dud.
