Injustice: Gods Among Us Review

The world's greatest super heroes clash in NetherRealm's latest fighting game. Our full review is here.

+ Combat system; + Environment interactions; + Fan service; + Noob-friendly; still in-depth

Lack of obscure characters; Grinding to unlock everything

Did NetherRealm Do DC Comics Justice? | Injustice: Gods Among Us Review

Injustice: Gods Among Us favors the resourceful and technically driven fighting game fans; hopefully, it will hold rank among the current crop of excellent competitive titles. It's hard to say exactly how Injustice is better than the rest of the pack, but it is easy to see it clearly outshines the...

Xbox 360 Review - 'Injustice: Gods Among Us'

Injustice: Gods Among Us borrows from classic DC comic story lines, such as Red Son, Earth-3, and even the Justice Lords episode of the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. It begins in an alternate Earth, where The Joker destroyed Metropolis and tricked Superman into killing his wife.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review

With the Mortal Kombat reboot getting rave reviews a couple of years ago, the team at NetherRealm Studios had quite a challenge on their hands to follow up on it properly. Instead of going with a pure MK game, they seemed to set out to craft a make-good on MK vs.

Game Review: Injustice: Gods Among Us [Xbox 360/PS3/WiiU]

NetherRealm brought themselves back into the foray for good with Mortal Kombat 9 . Proving that they were listening to what players wanted on both ends of the spectrum with some little touches that made all the difference, like periodic balance patching and facilities for picking a character blind...

-Strong Combat; Wealth of Single Player modes; Solid online play

-Animation still needs smoothing out -Sometimes clunky

Need more characaters

I wish that they would add Starfire and Beast Boy since they already have three of the other Teen Titans.

Challenging; Fun To Play; Good Audio; Multiplayer

Not Enough Characters

Injustice: Gods Among Us

When Injustice: Gods Among Us was announced something didn't sit quite right with me. Releasing a DC Comics game without putting DC in the title? Could DC have been distancing themselves from the project? Perhaps they wanted to keep it distinct from NetherRealm's previous DC fighting game.

Fighting games don't usually get a decent story - even when they're based on a premise with promise. Dragon Ball related fighting games should have it easy, you'd imagine - but they're always awful retellings of stories we've seen/played a hundred times over.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review - justice has been served

NetherRealm Studios has done a great job at making Injustice: Gods Among Us feel like its own game. Each character from the DC Universe feels like they belong and play to their strengths and weaknesses. With a fantastic storyline and addictive gameplay, Injustice deserves a spot on your shelf.

Amazing storyline; Great use of DC license; Stage transitions are awesome

Interactive backgrounds are annoying; Slight balancing issues; Minor online bugs
