inFamous: Second Son Review
Sucker Punch's inFAMOUS series was always one of the PlayStation's also rans. Given how much we enjoyed it, we can only assume that its lack of mainstream success came for the franchise's silly name formatting, or perhaps its lack of advertising support.

A lot of folks were looking at Infamous Second Son as the bellwether of what this generation would hold. It doesn't end up disappointing, combining outstanding visuals with refined gameplay that is a welcome visitor early in this generation.

Shifted from its PlayStation 4 launch line-up spot at the last minute, Infamous: Second Son is finally here. Can it boost the Infamous series beyond "decent" and into "great"?
Pros:
- Extremely crisp, attractive visuals
- Excellent face capture and voice acting
- Varied, heavy-hitting combat
- A very polished offering in almost all respects
Cons:
- Side missions are a bore
- Main missions are adequate but nothing more
- Some small camera problems
