Infamous: Second Son Review

Open-world superhero action games are about freedom and empowerment, and in these regards, Second Son is really impressive. Seattle is a big, beautiful playground for you to stomp around in with a set of devilishly fun and powerful toys at your disposal.

Gorgeous visuals; Fun combat; Diverse powers; Character chemistry

Plot and morality issues

InFamous: Second Son

With the launch of their new console, of course Sony is going to do their best to release new games from their most popular series as quickly as possible to drum up excitement and suppress any buyers' remorse.

Breathtaking visuals and colors that perfectly transports you into Seattle; fun and familiar gameplay that all inFAMOUS fans will enjoy

Even though the game is quite simple to pick up and learn; so much of the gameplay will only resonate with fans of the series

InFamous: Second Son review

Every kid dreams of having superpowers. Hell, when I was five years old, I tucked a blanket into the back of my shirt, stood in the doorway to my parents' basement, yelled "I'm Superman!" and threw myself down a flight of stairs. Turns out, I couldn't fly.

Fun story and interesting characters; The presentation is magnificent; Creative powers and abilities

Side content not well-developed; Gameplay isn't as 'next-gen' as the visuals; A bit short for an open-world game

Great: Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

The Paint Washes Off

The selling point of a new console generation always seems to be graphics, and the current transition to the PS4 and XBox One has been no different-every comparison of the most recent boxes hinges on polygons, pixels, and framerates.

InFamous: Second Son PS4 Review

InFamous has always been an empowering series, allowing you to wreak havoc with your electricity based powers, but InFamous: Second Son takes this further still with new hero Delsin Rowe, who, with his full capabilities, makes previous protagonist Cole McGrath look weak in comparison, and this leap...

The Son Also Rises

A lot of folks were looking at Infamous Second Son as the bellwether of what this generation would hold. It doesn't end up disappointing, combining outstanding visuals with refined gameplay that is a welcome visitor early in this generation.

inFamous: Second Son Review

Sucker Punch's inFAMOUS series was always one of the PlayStation's also rans. Given how much we enjoyed it, we can only assume that its lack of mainstream success came for the franchise's silly name formatting, or perhaps its lack of advertising support.

inFAMOUS: Second Son review (PS4)

The main character from Infamous: Second Son , a superhuman being labeled in this universe as a "Conduit," has the ability to absorb the powers of other Conduits and use them for his own means. Sadly, he never unearths the ability to get the game running at 60 frames per second.
