Multiplayer is awesome, single player...not so much

I really hope they make a sequel to the game so that they can learn from the vast amount of people playing that they will be more prepared in their amounts of dedicated servers as well as create a unique and dynamic single player, along with an even better multiplayer experience.

The multiplayer experience is unlike COD where it is in a huge environment and not as fast paced but still worth while; The battle points concept is really sweet because you can call in vehicles or drones or anything where most of them you can have a teammate with you; The gun detail is amazing.

Single player is a bit of a let-down; however, it isn't horrible, nor is it amazing; Something about it just quite doesn't really stick out for what I expected of it; However, the multiplayer does make up for it, but still..it is disappointing.

Homefront

A truly underrated FPS. No, it is not perfect (or else I would have given it a 5 star). But it is solid. And the story is very, very good. I highly recommend Homefront. And look out for the sequel Homefront: The Revolution.

Homefront Review

The thought of an America under siege is not a new one – John Milius brought us a cold war cautionary tale where a small town is overrun by Russian forces, leaving only a band of high school students to take on the mantle of guerrilla fighters to repel them – you'll know it as Red Dawn.

Homefront

At times, too creatively conservative - but an engrossing, cleverly realised shooter with CoD-beating multiplayer.

Refreshingly domestic environments; Stunning last mission; Some very cool set pieces; Intelligent enemy; Well defined NPCs; Outstanding multiplayer; Little campaign 'filler

Team-mates are plebs; Too much hand-holding; Short campaign

Homefront

If Homefront's frightening fictional possibility ever became real - North Korea rising to become a world superpower and occupying the United States - it's reassuring to know that we can take back our country with just a four-hour struggle. Homefront's "The Koreans are coming!

+ Polished; engaging multiplayer modes; + Some shocking; cool moments in single-player campaign

- Said campaign is laughably short; game sticks close to the Call of Duty gameplay formula, ? What would really happen if gas hit $15/gallon?

Homefront Review

Admit it, the premise does seem silly at first. North Korea? Invading the United States? By land? Is this serious? Of course, it turns out that Homefront 's author, John Milius - the guy that wrote and directed cult classic movie Red Dawn - wasn't expecting you to believe that this could happen just...
