I have played a lot of first-person shooters. This reminds me a lot of a Call of Duty title in how it controls, but it has a much more somber mood...

The story was extremely interesting

Not as polished as some AAA FPS titles; but still good

Homefront is not considered a game FPS, because you see the character on screen. Would be for a SPS or TPS ... But the action is intense ... You can not stop playing when it starts ... Your character interacts with every weapon in its path and even some cars as combat drones .. .

I really hope they make a sequel to the game so that they can learn from the vast amount of people playing that they will be more prepared in their amounts of dedicated servers as well as create a unique and dynamic single player, along with an even better multiplayer experience.

The multiplayer experience is unlike COD where it is in a huge environment and not as fast paced but still worth while; The battle points concept is really sweet because you can call in vehicles or drones or anything where most of them you can have a teammate with you; The gun detail is amazing.

Single player is a bit of a let-down; however, it isn't horrible, nor is it amazing; Something about it just quite doesn't really stick out for what I expected of it; However, the multiplayer does make up for it, but still..it is disappointing.

A truly underrated FPS. No, it is not perfect (or else I would have given it a 5 star). But it is solid. And the story is very, very good. I highly recommend Homefront. And look out for the sequel Homefront: The Revolution.

Went into this purchase just thinking "Hey for the price itll be worth it either way" because most shooters either have a very good multiplayer or a good campaign,this game has a great campaign because of the story and the controls are the same of most shooters so that helped,as well as the graphics...

Great Story but a short single player campaign. The multiplayer is fun and engaging and the best part of the product. Different than COD but fun with tanks, drones, and flying...

Campaign: Story was very good and really makes you feel for the game. Maps were really large and the pacing was good. It was a short, but sweet. Wish it was longer. Multiplayer: Awesome! Large maps, intense action, and great game mechanics. Guns feel good and the recoils are realistic.

I have to completely agree with the negative reviews submitted here, so much that i subscribed to metacritic in the hope to warn other gamers of this atrocity. Firstly, Single player campaign, to put bluntly, GASH, too short, poor graphics, dialogue, lack of originality, empty, cliche ridden...
