Hands-on with the Entry Level HTC Wildfire
Besides the lower end 528MHz Qualcomm processor, the Wildfire is actually spec'd nicely enough to perform the most common tasks. It doesn't sound like you'l be running any intensive 3D tasks, but besides that it seems like a nice device.

There are other entry-level Android devices out there but none of them are as well made or as fully featured as the HTC Wildfire, this is definitely my pick as this price range.

HTC Wildfire

HTC Wildfire Review
The fact is that this device – as I can remember one of the few smartphones from the company HTC, which is not overvalued at the start, that is, the price / quality ratio for Wildfire excellent even for the "white" option at the beginning of sales.
Cons:
- Capacitive touchscreen
- Running on Android 2.1
- Screen isn't massive
- Low res screen
- Camera is not as good as the HTC Desire's

HTC Wildfire review
The HTC Wildfire boasts impressive build quality and the full suite of Android features, but it has a low resolution display and sluggish performance. When you consider its price though, these minor issues are much easier to live with and are a small compromise to pay for a handset that offers...
