The last twelve months has seen a real explosion of Android devices hitting the Australian market, and this has been especially true for Telstra – not five months ago they bought (in my opinion) the second best ever Android phone to market, and in the time since, they've also released the Xperia X10...
Pros:
  • Small
  • comfortable size
  • Light – easy to pocket without looking odd
  • Android 2.1 with HTC Sense
  • Capacitive touch screen display
  • Multi touch
  • Amazing signal reception – works in some places other Next G handsets refuse to work
Cons:
  • Android 2.1 with HTC Sense
  • Screen is too small for some popular Android apps
  • Optical trackpad/trackball thing
  • Lacklustre CPU for a 2010 phone release
  • Some audio artefacts during calls

Disappointed

Pretty disappointed with this. Got it to replace an old htc wildlfire. The screen constantly freezes, applications don't work, internet and emails are 'unauthorised', weather app doesn't work properly. Think I'll just replace the battery in my old version. Waste of money.

but it is useless, you cannot load or transfer any apps to ...

I am very unsatisfied with the phone, Description states it has a sd slot, which it does, but it is useless, you cannot load or transfer any apps to it. The phone is loaded with useless apps and after running updates there is not any room left to install any apps.

The HTC Wildfire is a good phone, in design, looks, screensize and features. It packs a lot of punch for such a small smartphone for such a small price. However The phone does lack some features such as a Music Equalizer for music fans, so you cannot adjust the bass or treble levels to how you like...
Pros:
  • Size
  • Features
  • Camera Multi-Touch
  • Music on speakers plays loud..
Cons:
  • No Equalizer for music (sounds flat)
  • Screen Resolution
  • Very Very slow and does lock up occasionally
  • loads wrong message threads in your SMS sometimes
  • Internet browser can be slow and horrible to look at

"Wild with a Fire inside it, but probabilly not"

After years of deriding phones that do more than make phone calls I plunged headfirst into the HTC Wildfire about 2 years ago and it has become an indispensable friend over these two years, so much so that I don't want to have another brand of smartphone, and that is saying something for me a man...
Pros:
  • Small
  • Easy To Use
  • Sensual
Cons:
  • No Denim
  • Battery Life
  • Google is watching you
