Don't just consider buying this. Just buy it, NOW!!!
I became a VR fanboy from trying out a friend's PS VR which in turned led me to building a PC just for VR (He's jealous now, lol). I really hope they keep improving on this product and release a 2nd generation that addresses the pitfalls of this generation.- 1/3 of the cost of the Pro Kit
- -A bit pricey as Rift is $100 cheaper
- and the Vive Pro Kit (Better picture quality) is a ridiculous $1400
Started out great fun to play. About a week and a half past the return date the vive stopped working. We did all the trouble shooting on steam and htc's sites nothing helped. Contacted HTC Tec support they gave a few others to try but they didn't work. Sent the head set in for repair.
A must have for any PC gamer

Needs better and easier set up. Organized controller keys with better mapping.

HTC Vive review
If you have the budget, the HTC Vive is the best virtual reality experience on the market, bar none.- Best VR experience
- Intuitive controls
- Software partnership with Valve
- Still a bit pricey...
- Requires a high-end GPU
- Less comfortable than the Rift
