Decent product but HTC will not sell replacement parts so the unit is worthless if anything breaks
If your life is perfect and nothing every gets lost of breaks, this may be a good gaming product.
Pros:
- DIdn't get to use it long enough to find them
Cons:
- We lost a part
- HTC would not sell us a replacement
- They said to buy a new unit

We'll start with the good, and when it's working, it's an excellent and immersive experience. The headset is not heavy, the cables do not really get in your way and once the tracking units are set up, you can forget about them.

The HTC Vive offers the best in-home VR experience yet, but it's too unwieldy to truly enjoy for extended play sessions.
Pros:
- Sharp and incredibly immersive VR
- Head tracking is superior to Oculus Rift
- Whole-room VR is impressive
- Motion controllers work well
Cons:
- Expensive
- Tricky setup
- Uncomfortable to wear for long periods

love this thing use it all the time.
it's a wonderful bit of kit and while not perfect still blows anything else vr out of the water. feels surreal to use you have to try it to understand.

You could say revisiting our HTC Vive review eight months after launch doesn't make a lot of sense: Its hardware hasn't changed at all and its gaming library hasn't seen a dramatic overhaul. From another perspective, though, those are precisely the reasons to re-evaluate the Vive.
