Breaks.

It is a wonderful technlogy that will break for no reason after a few months of use. One of my sensor broke. It's usual for that brand I saw on the net... very disappointed.

Great product, but customer service totally SUCKS!!!

My son bought this back in April. Then, a few months ago the controller pads stopped working correctly. As others have stated, this is a very well known design flaw. You will find all kinds of reports of this online, yet HTC won't admit there's a problem.

Don't just consider buying this. Just buy it, NOW!!!

I became a VR fanboy from trying out a friend's PS VR which in turned led me to building a PC just for VR (He's jealous now, lol). I really hope they keep improving on this product and release a 2nd generation that addresses the pitfalls of this generation.
Pros:
  • 1/3 of the cost of the Pro Kit
Cons:
  • -A bit pricey as Rift is $100 cheaper
  • and the Vive Pro Kit (Better picture quality) is a ridiculous $1400

Started out great fun to play. About a week and a half past the return date the vive stopped working. We did all the trouble shooting on steam and htc's sites nothing helped. Contacted HTC Tec support they gave a few others to try but they didn't work. Sent the head set in for repair.

A must have for any PC gamer

I bought this vive a little over a week ago and it's so fun. Beat saber is a must have game for it and I can have fun on it for hours. When I first got the Vive it came in a very nice box, it just took a while to set up and I had a few problems with steam VR but eventually managed to sort them out.

Needs better and easier set up. Organized controller keys with better mapping.

It was good, it keeps cutting out a lot, not sure why... but its decent, I do kind of wish I waited on purchase as new headsets just got announced for this year, I dont regret purchasing it that much, but I do wish its not cut out during my games, I would return it, but I think my base station can...
