Amazing hardware.
HTC Vive is an amazing bit of kit that brings brilliant immersion. Not only is it for gamers as it can be used for creative purposes or simply watching a movie in your own personal cinema.

easy to set up.
In the end I did not use the stands but will keep them should i change rooms, The steam set up tutorial was easy to follow. I have played elite dangerous on a monitor but in VR it is breathtaking the three D effect makes it seem real you can walk about your ship and look out of the windows at...

Breaks.
It is a wonderful technlogy that will break for no reason after a few months of use. One of my sensor broke. It's usual for that brand I saw on the net... very disappointed.

Great product, but customer service totally SUCKS!!!
My son bought this back in April. Then, a few months ago the controller pads stopped working correctly. As others have stated, this is a very well known design flaw. You will find all kinds of reports of this online, yet HTC won't admit there's a problem.

Don't just consider buying this. Just buy it, NOW!!!
I became a VR fanboy from trying out a friend's PS VR which in turned led me to building a PC just for VR (He's jealous now, lol). I really hope they keep improving on this product and release a 2nd generation that addresses the pitfalls of this generation.
Pros:
- 1/3 of the cost of the Pro Kit
Cons:
- -A bit pricey as Rift is $100 cheaper
- and the Vive Pro Kit (Better picture quality) is a ridiculous $1400

If you've tried Google Cardboard, Gear VR or the Oculus Rift and think you know what virtual reality has to offer, then prepare for a rude awakening. The HTC Vive delivers the most immersive virtual reality experiences available right now.
Pros:
- Incredible
- immersive free-moving VR
- Intuitive controllers with good battery life
- Solid selection of games already available
- Nothing else quite like it
Cons:
- Pain to set up
- Software is buggy
- Expensive and needs lots of space

HTC Vive review
HTC Vive provides the VR experience I've been dying to have at home. If you feel like splurging, have the space for Room Scale and are invested enough to drill holes into your walls, by all means, it's a truly immersive experience that you can't miss.
Pros:
- Incredibly immersive
- Room Scale VR
- Comfortable headset
- Superb tracking
- Front facing camera
Cons:
- Very expensive
- Need lots of room for Room Scale
- Set-up may involve holes in walls
- Slight stuttering
- Games aren't polished
