The HTC One X is huge, slim and comes with a NVIDIA Tegra quadcore processor chip and Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. What's not to like? The HTC One X is the flagship model from the brand's new One Series of Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphones. We went hands-on...

HTC One X review Review
The One X is a phone for a specialist group of gadget fiends with big wallets and high power requirements. Unfortunately for them, the price of all that power-draining tech appears to be less than stellar battery life.
Pros:
- Ice Cream Sandwich
- Latest Sense interface is fast and slick
- Great 8-megapixel camera
- Classy look and lightweight feel
- Beats Audio
Cons:
- Battery life is questionable
- Massive handset won't suit everyone
- Screen has some flex at the edges
- Quad-core is overkill for most people

I fondly remember the day when HTC started its operations in India. A sunny (read hot) afternoon in June of 2007, Peter Chou unveiled the HTC Touch, mesmerizing everyone. It was nothing like you had ever seen before – a Windows Mobile smartphone that did not require a stylus.

Review: HTC One X
Some of the criticism that has been levelled against HTC over the past few months has been about the sheer number of handsets being pushed out by the company. The smaller One range is HTC's attempt to rectify this, with a tighter focus and the HTC One X is the flagship.

Finally, a phone that answers the user experience questions around Android HTC's market performance has slumped over the last few months – a result blamed squarely on the poor quality of the smartphones they've been churning out.

This one is a head turner. We're talking about the legally ‘White' HTC ONE X. There are very few gadgets that look great and perform to live up to the first good impression. This one has all the right ingredients, a quad processor, the latest Android software – The Ice cream Sandwich OS.
Pros:
- Jaw dropping design
- Excellent build quality
- Above average Camera performance in daylight
- HTC Sense 4.0 makes a lot of Sense
- Insanely fast
- First phone to ship with Android 4.0 ICS in India
- First Quad core phone to be available in India
Cons:
- Mediocre Camera performance in low-light
- Mediocre Battery Life of inbuilt battery
- non-removable
- No memory expansion
- you are stuck with the inbuilt memory
- No beats headphones in the box
- just software tweaks
- Pricey

Yes, HTC One X is the kind of phone we have been waiting for long. HTC has gone all out and given the One X everything they could. We are pretty impressed with this device. HTC One X is also the first quad-core phone to come under our purview.

Just before I left for a recent trip to Queensland a new HTC One X smartphone arrived in the office, which I promptly grabbed as I was keen to compare it to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. So how did it stack up?
Pros:
- : This is a very good phone
- HTC is learning more from what Samsung and Google are delivering than Apple
- The One design team has delivered an excellent design and under the bonnet is a fast processor that delivers a lot of grunt
- But is it the best phone yet?
Cons:
- : The only thing that I would like to see is the the option to not load HTC Sync along with a new contacts phone number search window based on a simple window instead of having to find letters next to numbers
