I have only had the HTC One S for one week and the only two (major) problems I have is exactly what has already been reported: difficulty in obtaining and maintaining a signal, and it really is quite fiddly to turn the phone off!

The review of HTC One S suggests that this is a camera that is made with amazingly endearing design being the thinnest of all the phones. Not only does it have great exteriors rather with the features present in this phone; it offers a wholesome experience.

A mid range handset with high end functionality

The HTC One S is an ideal handset for users who want a feature rich handset but without the pricetag and ultimate performance of the best smartphones on the market. HTC is reinventing the smartphone with the One series, and the HTC One S is a nicely proportioned, well specified handset with plenty going for it. We'd have liked the S to have been a touch cheaper to put a little more space between it and the One X, but regardless this is part of what is turning...

Good phone, but the seller ripped me off

Good phone, but the seller ripped me off. The audio jack did not work, the sim tray could not close and it had a bunch of scratches. I would not recommend anyone to buy from this seller.

All the gear but no idea phone

Looks great, loads of great features, really easy to use BUT........shocking, battery terrible, reception terrible, cuts you off, flips between apps all on its own, I have it as a business phone and we've just binned the lot.

The may be HTC's flagship Android phone of 2012, but the One S certainly doesn't look or feel any less classy. It's constructed from a unibody aluminium frame that's just 7.6mm thick and boasts many of the same features as its more expensive counterpart.
Pros:
  • Thin and stylish design
  • Excellent performance
  • Great camera software
Cons:
  • Display can't match some rivals
  • No memory expansion
  • Inconsistent Sense UI
