This phone has a good hardware. But it's software is awful. It has Android 4.0 preinstalled, which is fine. But it also has "Sense" which is kind of a bloatware. Also HTC is very slow for system updates. (I still don't have Jelly Bean (4.1) yet).

HTC comes through with a good product!
I've had other HTC productss in the past nad I was NOT happy at all. As a matter of fact, one of my phones almost blew up on my hip due to heating problems. But I have been quite impressed with this HTC One S. It has done everything I need it to do and more.
Pros:
- Sleek
- durable
- excellent camera/video
- HTC Sense
- good processor
Cons:
- No micro sd slot

One S
One S is the smaller brother of the flagship One X. With a dual-core processor, an 8 MP camera with HTC's ImageChip, its a capable smartphone. At 7.8 mm, this phone is extremely thin and has an excellent finsh.

All the gear but no idea phone
Looks great, loads of great features, really easy to use BUT........shocking, battery terrible, reception terrible, cuts you off, flips between apps all on its own, I have it as a business phone and we've just binned the lot.

Exactly as described
This item came fairly quickly. I stuck it to the disc for my GPS in my car and it works great. It stays stuck! My only concern is that the release mechanism may wear prematurely but I won't know for sure until I've had it for a while. Well worth the few dollars.

HTC One S Review: In Depth
All in all, HTC have thrown a spanner in the works with their One S. Despite not even being a flagship handset, it's our favourite phone of the moment. Build, interface and features are balanced incredibly well.
Pros:
- Fantastic build quality
- Superb battery life
- Solid low-light performance
Cons:
- Screen suffers from slight dot patterning
- Macro focus can be difficult to set
- White variant lacks ceramic finish
