I was actually rather excited to be given the opportunity to review the HTC One Mini as I have very much liked what I have seen from the HTC One and was curious to see if HTC could deliver a similar experience with its smaller cousin.

Excellent design and build quality; Camera performance; Dual front facing speakers

Plastic Edges; Button layout

HTC had introduced the One mini at Rs 36,790 market operating price and it can be purchased for around Rs 33,000 in India. The unfortunate part is that Samsung Galaxy S4 and Google Nexus 5 are available at the same price with better displays, hardware, battery and overall performance.

Amazingly crisp display; Comfortable design; Premium build quality; Audio output could have been louder

Mediocre camera quality; Limited battery capacity

Review: HTC One mini

remains one of the best Android smartphones in the market today in almost every aspect. Great build, premium materials, innovative software and a stunning new camera. It was voted best smartphone by Canadian Reviewer's readers a few months ago and it has spawned smaller and larger variants.

Ideal size and looks for a newbie Android user

I thought to knock it down to a 4-star, but for the time being it gets a 5 out of 5. I hope I will not have to edit this in say - a few months' time in regret. But so far - the Mini is good to go.

Great build quality and functionality; Feels buttery smooth in everyday use - no lag at all; Solid all-metal construction

USB power socket on the phone itself

Review: HTC One Mini

The 4 "ultrapixel" (marketing mumbo-jumbo) camera offers called Zoe. It offers many images post processing effects such as skin smoothening, red-eye removal, and anti-shine. Sequence Shot is an excellent feature that combines multiple images in a single frame to convey the action.

Impressive design; Sturdy build; Sharp screen; Elegant UI; Great sound quality

Disappointing camera; Expensive; Limited storage

HTC One mini

HTC has released a mini version of their flagship phone, appropriately named the HTC One Mini . The One Mini has the same aluminum and plastic frame, 4MP camera and Sense 5 user interface as the HTC One .

More than just an "EYE CANDY"

Let's start with looks, and "WOW that's a sexy phone" are the exact words from all the people who see the phone. The curves and the touch of the phone will never let you take it out of your hands.

The new HTC One review: a great phone, even if no longer a game-changer

The new One looks sharp, performs well, has solid battery life and improves on its predecessor in most categories. It's still at the top of our list, but its slick finish makes it uncomfortable to hold.

Beautiful all-metal design with brushed-metal finish; Duo Camera delivers great imagery; Top of the line performance; Long battery life; Motion Launch is a nice touch

The phone has a slippery feel that makes it difficult to grip; No enhancements to the display or HTC's UltraPixel technology

HTC One Mini

In the battle of the ‘mini' smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini vs the HTC One Mini is the key battleground. As the name suggests, the HTC One Mini is a smaller version of the Android phone great and TrustedReviews favourite the HTC One .

Excellent 720p HD screen; Slick Sense 5.0; Rich speaker performance

No removable battery; Incompatible with some big Android games; Only 16GB onboard storage
