My encounter with the HTC One mini underlines the increasing irrelevance of specs to the smartphone user experience. HTC managed to chop the One's processing credentials in half without introducing any tangible performance shortcomings.

The HTC One mini - the smaller sibling of the HTC One - is HTC's latest addition to the series of One devices. Powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8930) CPU and Adreno 305 GPU, the One mini will be right away released with Android 4.2.2 and HTC Sense 5.
