I bought this phone in July 2014 as a birthday present for my husband. He is not an extreme smartphone user just some basic internet and call/texting. The phone itself is still working without any problems.

The phone is impeccable, even after I've used it for like 3 years. It has not crashed, not once. It rarely is slow, probably when I overload its memory. The battery is enough for 2-3 days, depending if I go for the advanced battery saver scheme.

The HTC One Mini – a smaller version of the HTC One that packs a punch in all the right areas
Amazing build quality and design; brilliant camera; carries across many of the features that made the HTC One so good; Android Jelly Bean; Sense 5 is a great Android skin
Battery life isn't all that impressive; no SD-support
The HTC One Mini is a beautifully constructed handset, and a stark reminder that not every smartphone in 2013 needs to pack a giant screen to stand out. Apple's doing just fine, thank you, and we're glad to see another company offering a more reasonably sized alternative with great build quality.
While the HTC One Mini is far from the first shrink-rayed Android super phone, it is the first to look respectable; Compared to Samsung's plasticky Galaxy S3 Mini and S4 Mini blowers, this is a league above, with a beautiful design and curved metal back.
The HTC One's smaller frame does have some drawbacks: HTC's only found space for a rather measly 1,800mAh battery, which left us struggling to get through a day of use; There's also no space for the infrared TV remote control sensor or a microSD card, which is a bit disappointing as you only get...
There may be only a handful of top-tier Android phones on the market at one time, but the mid-range market is constancy flooded with handsets. True, most of these devices feature forgettable designs and specs which would do more good at the bottom of a trash can than inside a phone.
The HTC One was a landmark handset, pretty much the best that HTC could produce at the time. But it's quite a handful, and it made sense to shrink it down a little for those who value comfort and usability over bleeding edge tech.
Gorgeous good looks and lightweight design; decent screen; fast processor; latest version of Android
No expandable storage; no removable battery; camera could be better

I switched to this phone when it was released last year as I was sick of iPhones and was excited to go to something different. I'm now planning on going back to the iPhone as this OS has far too many bugs and usability issues and functionality that is standard on other phones is missing here.
