HTC One Mini review

A little slice of the world's best mobile phone.

Great design; High-res screen; Doesn't need more CPU power; If you hold both the One and the One Mini; you'll struggle to tell the difference; apart from the fact one is smaller than the other (obviously).

Poorer battery; Misses image stabilisation; Storage too low; Sadly; the overall impression we got of the HTC One Mini was one of a phone that didn't quite match up to the One in terms of spec or performance; even taking into account the lower price tag.

Worth buying

Great handset, meeting and in some cases exceeding my expectations. In simple words, it is worth buying and spending money on it. Camera is great, and flick feed is a great feature. I use to like large screens and the screen is large enough to view high resolution videos and photos in good detail.

HTC One Mini

The HTC One Mini is a beautifully constructed handset, and a stark reminder that not every smartphone in 2013 needs to pack a giant screen to stand out. Apple's doing just fine, thank you, and we're glad to see another company offering a more reasonably sized alternative with great build quality.

HTC One mini Review

Building a mini version of your popular flagship handset seems to be the in-thing among Tier 1 smartphone makers and once again, we have Samsung to thank (or resent) for this. If memory serves us correctly, the S3 mini really kick-started this craze and soon other OEMs were also infected with this...

I was actually rather excited to be given the opportunity to review the HTC One Mini as I have very much liked what I have seen from the HTC One and was curious to see if HTC could deliver a similar experience with its smaller cousin.

Excellent design and build quality; Camera performance; Dual front facing speakers

Plastic Edges; Button layout

HTC One Mini expert review

The One Mini is designed primarily as a mid-range device, but I find it's much more than that. The 4.3-inch screen seems to be the perfect size for a modern day smartphone and proves to be ever more loved.

Four Ultra Pixel Camera is stunning; Dual Stereo Speakers with Beats Audio; Strong build quality

Plastic edging; No expandable memory; No removable battery

On paper, the naming of the HTC One mini makes perfect sense. The mini is a mid-to-high-end aluminum-clad smart

Aluminum design is solid and premium, complemented by fantastic Super LCD 2 display; Decent (but not high-end) performance from the Snapdragon 400

As neither a premium nor cheap 4.3-inch device, the HTC One presents better value for money; The "Ultrapixel" camera is still disappointing, more so without OIS

HTC One mini Review

Several months after the first market availability of the original HTC One, the HTC One mini emerges as a compact amalgamation of everything that was right about its predecessor. Working with a smaller body, a lower resolution on a sized-down display, and a processor that's not quite as powerful as...
