Everyone loves an underdog. They're new, exciting, and upset expectations. In 2013, the HTC One M7 brought that incredible disruptive energy to smartphones, and the following year's M8 ran neck and neck with the best you could buy.

HTC One M9 review
HTC has somehow improved the amazing Boom Sound speakers. This time the dual, front-facing speakers include Dolby Audio, which help create a rich, crisp, spacious soundscape. Small issues aside, it's still early days yet for 2015, but HTC has managed to make one of our favourite smartphones, again.
Pros:
- Camera captures detailed images
- Well built and scratch resistant coating works
- User Interface is snappy and responsive
Cons:
- Water and dust proofing would be nice

HTC One M9 review
For years mobile phones were piece of plastic. Some looked good, but still had that cheap feeling of thin plastic. Long time smartphone manufacturers helped change this with the introduction of its HTC One M7 flagship device a couple of years ago and improved on that with its HTC One M8 last year.

HTC knows that when you're on a good thing – you stick to it. That was obviously the thinking behind its latest flagship smartphone – the One M9 – because it looks almost identical to last year's popular model.
