HTC One M9 Review
After the success of the HTC One and One M8, the M9 is somewhat of a disappointment. Its specs look good on paper, but where the Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4 have the performance to match, the One M9 falls short, especially in the camera department.- Premium metal build
- Quality speakers
- Good manual camera control
- Fast focusing and burst shooting
- Raw capture
- Ultra HD video
- MicroSD slot
- High capacity battery
- Substandard JPEG image quality
- Unflattering tinted flash
- Average screen
- HDR mode hidden in menus
- No optical image stabilisation

HTC One M9 review: A gorgeous Android phone for 2015
The HTC One M9 is a genuinely desirable smartphone with the best design and build available in Android land, even with Samsung upping the ante. It's good to see the powerful Snapdragon 810 and more memory, however, some key hardware remains the same meaning M8 users are unlikely to be tempted to upgrade – and the old model is now an attractive buy at around £350. The fact the Galaxy S6 costs the same yet has more impressive specs is bad news for HTC.
Fast, beautiful and reliable but lacking in the camera department..
I bought this phone back in October and have been pleased overall with the purchase, but would have liked better performance from the camera given HTC have delivered great results previously in this realm.
Really nice phone
Easy to use and figure out. Really quick. Call quality is awesome. I'm not a power user just an average user and the battery will easily last a day and a half or two days so I'm happy with that.- durable
- ease of use
- good for texting
- speaker
- wi-fi capable
- software bugs
HTC One M9 review
A great phone if you're upgrading from two years ago, but doesn't deliver enough changes to be worthy of a perfect score.
HTC One M9
Taking up the mantle as HTC's flagship phone in 2015, the HTC One M9 has a lot to live up to. The HTC One M8 and original One were both great handsets, the latter a winner of the TrustedReviews' Phone of the Year Award in 2013.- Beautifully crafted and well-designed
- Speedy processor
- Sense Home works brilliantly
- Great front-facing camera
- Best speakers you can find on a phone
- Aesthetic changes not an improvement
- Rear camera not as good as the competition
- Some software niggles
the best phone I've ever had and used
This is absolutely, without a doubt, the best phone I've ever had and used. It puts the iPhone to shame in terms of price, build quality, speed, performance. It's an absolutely beautiful phone made of pure metal. The speed even blows and iPhone 6s out of the water.
Good price, quick delivery from outside UK and brand new phone
Good price and quick delivery from outside UK. Product arrived pristine in sealed plastic.
"M9 Warm for the winter"
This is a fast and durable phone, its camera has a good resolution 5376 x 3752 pixels as well as 20 MP all though the auto focus has some minor problems and cant quite focus the way you want it.- Good
- fast and Durable
- Gets very hot and have a bad auto focus
