Google Pixel 3 64GB
Reviews for the Google Pixel 3 have been overwhelmingly positive, with one expert saying "it's the best Android smartphone you can buy". Let's find out why!
Cool and compact
The Pixel 3 is smaller, lighter and more compact than most smartphones, with many tech experts pointing out how comfortable it is to handle, how easy it is to hold one-handed, and how nicely it fits into your pocket.
Glass adds class
The Pixel 3 says goodbye to Google's usual aluminium and glass construction, and adopts a classy all-glass design. If first impressions count, this is the phone for you!
An enhanced display
The OLED screen delivers a higher contrast ratio, most evident in low light and dark conditions, while the 2,260 x 1,080-pixel resolution is super-sharp, with excellent colour saturation, and the option to revert to a more "natural" display if preferred.
Amazing cameras
The cameras on Google smartphones are some of the best you can get. The Pixel 3 is no exception! New features include Top Shot, which takes frames before and after your picture and suggests an alternative shot to what you actually captured: Super Res Zoom gives you better detail while zooming: and Night Sight greatly enhances the quality of low light shots.
A focus on yourself
The Pixel 3 features regular and wide-angle lens for all selfies and portrait mode shots. An integrated algorithm will remove any distortion caused by the wider lens.
Call screening
A great example of the wonderful AI tasks in this smartphone! When you receive a call, on-device speech recognition will transcribe the conversation from the caller (who is calling? why they are calling?) so you can decide whether to pick up, hang up, or mark as spam and block.
A newer model Google Pixel 4 64GB was released in November 2019.

Google Pixel 3 hands-on: the best smartphone camera just got better
The Google Pixel 3 is one of the few Android smartphones to offer the latest hardware in a handy size. But is that enough to make it stand out from the competition We've tested Google's new device in our hands-on.
And, well, it has and hasn't. The Pixel 3 is but an incremental upgrade compared to the Pixel 2, a rather well-received handset, albeit one with a rather dated design. At the same time having the phone slipped into our hands we can't help but feel that warm 'oooh, this is nice' feeling all over...
A device is more than the sum of its parts. In the three years since Google first introduced the Pixel series of smartphones, it has consistently proved that plain and simple hardware specs do not matter as much as Google's OEM partners would have you believe.
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were unveiled a week ago in Google's third attempt at establishing itself as a serious player in the premium smartphone segment. There really weren't many surprises to be had on the hardware front, as all the leaks and rumours we'd seen in the months leading up to the...

Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL Review - Style Over Substance
If you want a no-nonsense phone that just works, this is what you buy. It truly has become the iPhone of Android, and will likely appeal most to users who aren't interested in lots of options, tweaking the interface, or making the phone feel like a one-of-a-kind device that no-one else has.
The Google Pixel range has always been for Android purists – those who want Google's operating system without the customisation and bloat provided by most manufacturers.
