Fujifilm Fujinon XF 50mm F2 R WR Review
Fujifilm's family of F2 primes is completed with the svelte Fujinon XF 50mm F2 R WR ($449). It's the longest of the trio—complementing the wide-angle XF 23mm F2 and standard XF 35mm F2—and is built to similar specs. It's light and small, omitting optical stabilization but including protection from dust and splashes. It's a solid option in this focal length, which is typically used for portraiture, but doesn't deliver the extremely shallow depth of field you get from the premium Fujinon XF 56mm F1.2 R.
Design

The front element supports 46mm filters, and the rear mount is protected by a rubber gasket. Coupled with internal protection and a body with weather sealing, you can feel free to use it in any sort of precipitation.
