It says your Mac will require a software download. HA! The downloads available are old and do not let this scanner work with the latest OS updates you have put on your Mac computer. I'm sorry I didn't read ALL of the reviews and find this out in time to save the return shipping cost!

I haven't had this scanner long but I have scanned over 500 photos since I received it. The automatic picture detection is hit or miss and sometimes detects multiple photos correctly and other times it needs to be done manually, but is easy to do in the scanning software.

Fast start up and scanning; Works well with slides, negatives and film; Allows scanning of multiple photos at one time creating a separate file for each; Optical resolution up to 6400 dpi; Automatic color restoration and dust elimination work OK for most scans.

Took 6 days for my 3 day shipping; I don't think it was actually in stock yet; Price dropped after I purchased it; Front panel buttons don't work but that is probably because I installed just the basic scanning software and drivers from the Epson website and didn't load all the other software that...

Product is very easy to use and excellent quality

Really high quality scanner that you can trust, delivers amazing results once up and running. The set up instructions were very vague picture diagrams, and didn't have any written instructions available.

Very clear résults. The only problem for me was to scan 4 slides at a time and after separate the 4 files with the right app. Didn't find the solution in the user guide.

This product is excellent. It took my 41 year old wedding pictures and made them look like they were just taken last week. Maybe even better than the originals. You can try different coloring, take out any imperfections, red eyes and more. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!

Design; Easy to Use; Features; Performance; Quiet; value

I am 60 year old. I use it for the scanning of old negatives and old photos. It feels great that negatives and photos can be digitized for my family and future generations to enjoy.

It is a great addition to my office machines. I have not used it for pictures. But i got it with that in mind as i have 100 year old family photos. I am a student and it is seriously helping me with that. Because i needed a commercial printer for grad school i got one without scan capability.

Relatively easy to set up & I am not a techno wizard; Scans quickly and saves immediately on PC still need to play around and work out more features

No manual; It had to be downloaded & this is a feature I dislike with any modern items; Similarly I had to download the software due to the system I have
