This is a 1280 x 800 projector - it's amazing how little of an image fits into that space. How did we ever work with computer screens that small? :-) As an entry-level portable projector, it's great. The immediate switch-off is handy for quickly packing up at the end, as is the "audio-visual mute" button on the remote when you want people to look at you. Simple layout, easy to use and most importantly bright and clear when projecting videos or images.
It has all that you want and more! If you want interactive features such as pens and document cameras, they're all there. The 535W has a lot in common with the NEC Display Solutions NP-M352WS ($1,046.80 at Amazon) that it's replacing as our preferred pick for the category. The two models have similar brightness levels, size, weight, and throw distance for any given image size. The key difference between the two is that instead of being built around a DLP engine, like the NEC model, the 535W is built around an LCD engine. That gives it some inherent pluses and minuses, compared with the NEC mo...
