"Dyson are expensive but if you want the best you have to pay for it. I would never buy anythink else.

Bought this to replace an old heavy Dyson, and it is amazing. Light to move around and removes cat hair much better than the old one. I wish I'd bought it sooner, Unless you live in an enormous house I wouldn't worry about the battery, I find I use it more often for less time - it's so convenient...

I've given this Dyson a 5 star as its an excellent product. There are no leads so I can zoom around furniture at ease to clean. Its neatly attached to the docking station on the wall so it looks good whilst charging. It's a powerful machine.

I bought this over a month ago and can't say enough good things. We have two cats and a dog - including two adults who also shed!!! This vacuum really does get all the dirt/debris, either carpet or floor. Being cordless it's a joy to use; it's light and easy to empty.

This is my second Dyson stick vacuum and it's been improved. The first one lasted for about three years when the battery went out. It was too confusing to try to replace, frankly, so I opted for the V8.

Already have the V6 cordless. This has huge advantages. The V6 now resides as a spare. Almost cannot wait for the next improvement. Love the V8

We have a large house (6 bedrooms) with 3 dogs and 2 cats roaming free range. This vac is amazing - does an excellent job on our rugs and carpets which previously I had to get my big Dyson out to vac these areas - this honestly does as good a job on Max suction.

I actually didn't get to touch till day 3 of ownership because my boys were using it to clean everything. I think they like this better than our older full size animal.

Very easy to Hoover wooden and carpeted floors. Light and easily manoeuvrable. Can reach most places and other tools are useful. Only draw back is it runs out after 20 minutes at full power on main attachment, but is quite effective so the run time is usually long enough.

My Dyson V8 is my pride and joy. I've mounted it on a wall in my laundry space and it is so easy to take off and put back on to use it. Suction is great, easy to empty, love all the attachments. You're getting quality here so it's worth the extra dollars.
