Good, but not perfect.

Pros: cordless; compact size; multiple attachments that are easy to remove and attach; wall bracket comes with anchors and screws for mounting Cons: if you have arthritis, beware: you must hold the trigger when in use and the unit vibrates, plus it's not as "lightweight" as it appears; I would have...

Thank You

Absolutely love my new cordless Dyson vacuum. After being severely injured in a car accident I could not carry my big canister vacuum up and down stairs anymore and was afraid of tripping on the cord. Now I can safely keep my house clean.

Love it~

Buy it, you won't regret it! The filter blows out fresh, clean air and my house feels so clean. The suction is better than the old corded Dyson we own. Also, I purchased a generic name cordless vacuum but the filter blew out stinky, dirty smelling air and didn't suction up near as well as this one.

Dyson V8 Animal review: The most affordable Dyson V8

Lightweight and manouevrable; Powerful suction; Cheapest Dyson V8

Expensive; Some parts feel flimsy; Not as good as the Dyson Cyclone V10

Dyson V8 Animal

Our fur-moulting, muddy-pawed companions have always necessitated the best in home vacuum cleaner technology. Big motors, powerful suction, dedicated tools and floor-heads with rotating brush bars are a must. So can Dyson's V8 Animal cordless cleaner live up to the pet hair challenge?

Class-leading suction power; Superb floor head design; Efficient pet hair pick-up; Mini-tool for dog beds; upholstery; Easy emptying bin; Up to 40-minute run-time; Wall dock charger

Bin rather small for pet homes; V8 Absolute better for hard floors

Brilliant hoover

I've had quite an old dyson for years now and I was sick of lugging it around and taking it up several flights of stairs at home, the cordless is so light and easy to use, it makes it so much less time consuming and I didn't even realise how much dirt my old hoover wasn't picking up until I used...

I now love vacuuming

I hummed and hawed over this purchase – it just so darned expensive. However, having taken the plunge, I truly love it. It's light and zips around carpet or laminate, cornering like Anthony Hamilton. And it picks up bits of fluff on the first pass!

Best Vacuum Cleaner Ever

For years I've resisted buying a Dyson because of the price and instead I have settled for cheaper hoovers thinking they are only marginally inferior and I wasn't going to fall for a marketing con. After using my mother in laws I decided to take the plunge and buy the V8 animal.

Very handy and efficient vacuum!

We had a Dyson V6 at our home in Canada, and when we moved to England we wanted a vacuum as good as or better than the V6 which we loved. The Dyson V8 is that machine! Cleans carpets and hard floors thoroughly and is easy to move around our 2 level house.

Easy to use!

I bought this a few weeks ago when our Henry packed up and haven't looked back. A charge only last 40 minutes but as there's no cables or plugs to changed I whizz round my house in about 20 minutes! The accessories make cleaning our car quick and easy to, it's well worth the money!
