For years I've resisted buying a Dyson because of the price and instead I have settled for cheaper hoovers thinking they are only marginally inferior and I wasn't going to fall for a marketing con. After using my mother in laws I decided to take the plunge and buy the V8 animal.

Really great appliance very effective and easy to use. Only I'd like that the trigger could stay stuck if you want it. It means that loses some power but I prefer not hold the trigger in all the time.

I bought this a few weeks ago when our Henry packed up and haven't looked back. A charge only last 40 minutes but as there's no cables or plugs to changed I whizz round my house in about 20 minutes! The accessories make cleaning our car quick and easy to, it's well worth the money!

Buy it, you won't regret it! The filter blows out fresh, clean air and my house feels so clean. The suction is better than the old corded Dyson we own. Also, I purchased a generic name cordless vacuum but the filter blew out stinky, dirty smelling air and didn't suction up near as well as this one.

Bought this to replace an old heavy Dyson, and it is amazing. Light to move around and removes cat hair much better than the old one. I wish I'd bought it sooner, Unless you live in an enormous house I wouldn't worry about the battery, I find I use it more often for less time - it's so convenient...

Light weight and easy to use, I love this vacuum. I don't even need a corded vac anymore. Whilst it's great with fine dirt, dust and sand, it struggles to pick up any anything larger than a fly on hard surfaces. I find this very frustrating and unfortunate.

I hummed and hawed over this purchase – it just so darned expensive. However, having taken the plunge, I truly love it. It's light and zips around carpet or laminate, cornering like Anthony Hamilton. And it picks up bits of fluff on the first pass!

Very easy to Hoover wooden and carpeted floors. Light and easily manoeuvrable. Can reach most places and other tools are useful. Only draw back is it runs out after 20 minutes at full power on main attachment, but is quite effective so the run time is usually long enough.

Is an awesome hand stick vacuum ...on maximum am astounded at what is sucked up almost daily ! Better than our ageing normal Dyson. Highly recommend this if you have animals as well ...we have a long haired cat and she's groomed daily but the Dyson still picks up more and more .
