Amazing suction power
I bought the V8 about a month and a half and am totally amazed at the amount of dirt that comes out of our carpet now. Really wasn't cleaning it with our other vacuum cleaner.

Not perfect
Very powerful suction and easy to use around the house. It makes vacuuming less of a chore. Changing from one attachment to another is quick and fuss-free as is the emptying process. However, it is not much use in a car - the motor head is too big for it to manoeuvre into all the small spaces.

I love my new Dyson!
Well, I am so pleased with the Dyson absolute. It's easy to use and picks up so much dirt. Now, it's not such a chore to do the vacuuming as I just grab the cordless and do what I need to do quickly. It is expensive and I saved up for it and used some reward points to help bring down the cost.

Makes other vacuums obsolete
Great Vacuum! Light weight and easy to maneuver due to cordless feature. Powerful and added accessories makes it a breeze to clean.

We decided to give Dyson one more try and thought that if we bought the V8 we would have a better built quality machine
We returned our first V7 one week after we bought it. It had gasket problems. After we got another V7 and the power button failed not turning the motor on. I suspect since this type of design holding all that weight with the button it will be prone to failure.

Dyson absolute is worth the money
This makes vacuuming so easy. I had no idea that it would make this big of a difference. It glides across the floor. My only complaint is that you have to hold the power button down, which takes some getting used to

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever had and I have had a few as i have always had animals the suction on this is amazing don't need new carpets now the pile is as they were when new

Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with 40 Minute Run Time & Boost Mode
Pros:
- Very convenient appliance
- overall I have very pleased with the purchase
Cons:
- One small mention that the handle rubbed on my hand the first time I used it and caused a blister
- But I'm more careful with how it is held now

Dyson V8 Absolute+ review: The Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner is two things which the traditional ones are not. One, it is bagless; and two, it is wireless. In fact, it looks more like something out of a Star Wars movies than a prop from Ghost Busters.

but a good product, would recommend if one can afford it
"Expensive,but a good product,would recommend if one can afford it,to purchase extra filters,the maintenance schedule states the filters should be washed every month,the drying period for the filters takes about 24hours,rendering the cleaner redundant for that period of time!!
