Dyson V8 Absolute review: finally a cordless alternative to an upright
The V8 Absolute is the most flexible, easy to use and convenient vacuum cleaner I have ever used. Previous models wouldn't always do the whole house on a charge; the V8 will be able to clean even a five-bed house in one go, which is a big step forward.
Pros:
- ample battery life
- very powerful when needed
- great cleaning heads
- good weight distribution
- easy to use attachments
- easy to empty
- quiet
- compact and maneuverable
Cons:
- expensive
- no where to store extra heads
- nowhere to carry tools when cleaning

So Easy To Use
I just go it out of the box and pluged it in waited for few hours to charge and she works like it should with no problems and part from the price well get what you pay for as I have find out over time so I went for the best and yes it works better than fine.

Easy to use
This is a very good vacuum and convenient too. The battery will last for 40 minutes IF you DON'T use it on the max setting. It only lasts for 7(?) minutes if used on max setting. This was not a prominent issue in the packaging.

Dyson V8 Absolute
We loved the power and versatility of the Dysons V6 Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner, with only minor caveats of shortish battery life and occasionally tricky bin emptying. Enter the new Dyson V8 Absolute, promising more power, double the run time and easier bin emptying.
Pros:
- Better cleaning than many mains-powered machines
- Improved bin emptying
- Outstanding air filtration
- Good battery life
- Great tools for all jobs
Cons:
- Only the price

Lightweight and flexible
Easy to empty collection container empties directly into a trash container after each use. Operating instructions are clearly written and understandable. Several points I've learned: 1) the batteries require you to be efficient while vacuuming giving you about 1/2 hour vacuum time.

Great little vacuum
The V8 Absolute picks up dog hair, bird feathers and chips from the cardboard boxes we give our parrot to keep him from chewing up the furniture. I only use it on hardwood and slate tiles (1900' first floor). I use it daily to touch up between whole house vacuuming.

Dyson V8 Absolute review: finally, the ultimate cordless vacuum cleaner
It's been a long road to get the Dyson handheld to this point. The early models, starting with the DC16 all the way back in 2007, already looked good and did a job, but they were underpowered, short-lived and a bugger to maintain.
Pros:
- Light and compact
- Great cleaning on all surfaces
- It's even pretty stylish
Cons:
- Battery life on max power
- Quality still costs
