Effortlessly good
I bought my dyson a few weeks ago and I can honestly say I'm so happy with it. I'm finding it powerful and effortless. I just pick it up have a quick hoover and carry on with my life. I have a big black labrador so I need to keep on top of the fur situation. So far so good

The Dyson V11 reigns supreme, but the V8 Absolute is still a great cordless vacuum cleaner
Pros:
- Versatile cleaning for all floor types
- Improved battery life
- Super quiet
Cons:
- Incredibly expensive

Great vacuum!
I don't know why I waited so long to purchase a Dyson. This is the best vacuum I have owned by far-- the suction is great. It's amazing how much dirt and other stuff it picks up from a carpet that looks 'clean', as well as from solid floors (tile and wood).

Dyson V8 Absolute Handstick
Pros:
- It looks nice and the fitting plug in very well
Cons:
- Poor suction in normal mode
- When you switch over to max mode, the suction is good but this reduces battery life to approx 5 minutes and then it takes 5 hours to re-charge
- Did not expect this from the Dyson brand

Love to Vacuum!!!
Hands down one of the best purchases! I don't think my house has ever been vacuumed so much! Everyone in the family loves it! It's so satisfying seeing the dirt and dust this picks up! Light. Easy to handle. Wish it had an extension for taller people - just so there's less bending over.

- Has specially designed tools for bare floor and carpet
- HEPA filtration
- Dyson has improved its dirt emptying mechanism
- Longer run time (40 mins max
Cons:
- Very expensive (more expensive than some of the Dyson uprights in the market
- Dirt bin while has increased in capacity is still small

V8
I love my V8. I couldn't use a vacuum at all because I have an injury so I gave my old barrel type to my daughter even though it is less then 4 years old. I swear-by Dyson's products But this is a beauty. I have a 2 bedroom apartment & the first time using it I cleaned the whole unit with no pain.

It's like a heavy-duty Dustbuster
Love this vacuum ?? I have only hardwood floors and tile and have a Great Pyrenees. Balls of white hair every single day on my floors. I love that I can get all the floors cleaned up in less than 15 minutes without dragging a corded heavy machine around. Its exactly what I've been looking for ??

It is so lightweight and easy to use. I have a private homeschool/child care and have to vacuum alot so it's really nice not having to deal with a canister or the bulkiness of a regular vacuum.
