The pros of this vacuum are, it's light weight, easy to use and change out attachments, pretty good suction, dual voltage. The cons are that it takes so long to vacuum, and if you've just vacuumed, chances are it heats up and when you go to plug it in, it shows the yellow light meaning it can't...

I couldn't believe how well this little thing picked up the debris in the carpet.....including very fine particles...dust/dirt/pet hair etc....the container filled up quickly....and you don't want to let it overfill. It's ok that I have to empty it frequently because it works so well!

I am seriously in love with this vacuum. My vacuuming time is a fraction of what it used to be. I am also amazed how powerful it is on carpets. The rotating head makes it so easy to reach everywhere; it can fit under a lot of low furniture. Great buy!!!

I only got my dyson v6 yesterday and have already hoovered 4 times, I am really shocked at how much dust it picks up though and had to empty it which was so easy just a flick of a button. I put it back on charge as soon as I've used it but don't know if you are meant to.

We mainly use a Miele vacuum cleaner, The Dyson is used for the quick tidy up jobs, after approx 2 years it lasts just a few seconds after a full charge. I have tried the trouble shooting cleaning the filter & any other areas dirt and dust may get stuck.

We have a beam system in our house so I wanted something I could just lift easily to do a small amount of hoovering rather than haul out the long hose. The amount of suction this Dyson has impressed me greatly, as well as it's easy manoeuverability.

This is not worth the money. Its good on carpet, but rubbish on laminate floors or tiles. It just pushes the dirt around. The battery doesn't last long. The head gets blocked quite easily (I have long hair - just below shoulder length).

This is our second Dyson product purchase, as before, very happy with the product performance. The V6 Animal is light-weight and has great suction, the tools in the box are excellent. It is also great that you can purchase other accessories/tools that didn't come in the box, separately.

We bought this machine on April 23/2014 and been using it everyday since. It's amazing what it picks up. We have a big puppy with lots of puppy hair, but this picks it up easily. Easy to use and very light weight. It keeps the house dust and puppy hair free

Maybe I have a lemon? The battery dies after 5 minutes. It does not come apart easily to use other accessories...a struggle to the point I gave up trying. The lid holding the debris has to be taped closed because it opens while vacuuming and all dirt and dog hair ends up on the floor.
