We bought this machine on April 23/2014 and been using it everyday since. It's amazing what it picks up. We have a big puppy with lots of puppy hair, but this picks it up easily. Easy to use and very light weight. It keeps the house dust and puppy hair free

I bought this after my hoover broke down and I can honestly say that hands down this is the worst hoover I have ever bought. There is something very appealing about having a cordless hoover, just pulling it off it's charging port and away you go is great, but the suction on this hoover is utter...

"I like to set this straight for everyone looking into this. Buying this was so confusing because there are 5 versions of Dyson V6: Absolute (pink), Clean (red), Fluffy (blue), Animal (purple) and Standard (White).

I am a vacuum freak. We have a Hoover upstairs, an Oreck downstairs as well as two cordless dusters and a shop vac. Most people would think that would be enough but I really wanted a cordless with a long wand so I could vacuum the floors.

Maybe I have a lemon? The battery dies after 5 minutes. It does not come apart easily to use other accessories...a struggle to the point I gave up trying. The lid holding the debris has to be taped closed because it opens while vacuuming and all dirt and dog hair ends up on the floor.

"GreAt hover for the price and the motor time is great last long. The brush is so good and my house is always clean now as when we have dog it can be tricky. Only 1 issue the purple color handle scratch easily. Needed a better cotting of color from manufacturer."

I bought this unit specifically for daily quick touch ups to collect dog hair from my tile floors. Love that it is lightweight, cordless and convenient to use. Howerever, I have multiple dogs including a golden retriever whose long hair fills up the disposal bin very quickly.

Whilst the Dyson V6 Animal Extra cleans well, the battery only lasts for about 5 minutes on high power so you have to run around the house super fast to vacuum before it runs out. I usually only get one full room done. Ridiculous. Then you need to leave it to cool down before you can charge it.

This vacuum is powerful and light weight, however, it runs out of battery power quite quickly.

This is the second dyson handheld that I've bought, this one was for my Dad and he loves it! Lightweight for taking up and down the stairs and doing the car, battery is good for doing a 3 bedroom house before needing a recharge too!
