Dyson Supersonic hair dryer review: The cool new gadget for your hair
If you live on Instagram and Snapchat and follow celebrities and ‘beauty influencers' chances are you have already seen the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. The ‘Iron Fuschia' colour combination is certainly unique, but what is interesting is the design and shape of this, and yes the price.

Made my hair super dry
The dryer is super cool if you're into technology and I can't live out with my Dyson vacuums however by the 3rd time I dried my hair I felt like my hair was breaking by my bangs. Even on the second heat setting it was super hot and burning my hands as I used a round brush.
Pros:
- Dries hair quickly
- Magnetic attachments are cool
Cons:
- Even lower heat setting is still kind of hot
- My hair felt like straw after 3rd use
- Seemed to damage my hair

Curly peeps this is for you!
This is the gold standard. It is expensive, but if your hair would otherwise take 4 days to dry before you can scrunch out the crunch, this is worth it. I should add I have only used this with the diffuser attachment, a must for those with curls. It would be 5 stars but the practicality of the design (ironic, given that its from a design-focused brand) is not quite deserving of more. This is because there is no loop to hang it up, and I have found that my hand covers the air intake on the handle when Im using it. But I can forgive those things, I love it!!

Dyson's new Supersonic is the Tesla of hair dryers
Dyson is known for its vacuums, and while a vacuum isn't exactly something you'd envision putting close to your head, Dyson has borrowed technology from its modern vacuums and put it in this hair dryer.
Pros:
- Cool design
- Light in the hand
- Powerful motor
Cons:
- Ridiculously expensive
- Also expensive
- Not as quiet as expected

Great features
My husband suprised me with this Dyson hairdryer and bought it for me for my birthday. I had always talked about it since it's arrival. I had always been happy with my GHD hairdryer but felt it was getting heavy for my arm. As I had an operation on my wrist I needed something lighter and quicker.

Australian Exclusive: Dyson Supersonic Hands-On
They say it's powerful, light, safe and quiet. Supersonic is Dyson's brand new foray into the world of hair care, and while it is at its core a hairdryer, what it represents is so much more.

Mashable Choice highlights the best of everything we cover, have experienced first-hand and would recommend to others. My wife cradled the new Dyson Supersonic hair dryer like it was a newborn baby.

A curly-haired woman's honest review of the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer
Despite knowing full well that Dyson can clean my house wonderfully, I wasn't convinced that a tiny wind turbine for my head would give me perfect hair. Any time a new hype-worthy hair product like the Dyson Supersonic comes out, I have the same thought: "that won't work for me.

Dyson Supersonic
Most professional stylists and home users say the Dyson Supersonic is well worth its high price. Its fast-spinning motor, built into the handle, delivers gale-force airflow of over 60 mph, drying hair in record time – yet it's actually quieter than most hair dryers. It's feature packed, too.
Pros:
- Powerful airflow
- Quiet
- Multiple heat and speed settings
- Unique magnetic attachments
Cons:
- Extremely expensive
- Some complaints of hair damage
