Dyson Supersonic review
When most hair dryers will set you back £50-100, it’s tough to see exactly why the Supersonic costs a dizzying £300. Sure, it’s got the smallest digital motor Dyson makes inside it, and as the first of its kind the company can pretty much charge what it likes, but it means few people are going to be able to pick one up any time soon. If the price came down, I could see this being one seriously in-demand dryer, but right now, it’s a luxury. Dyson seems happy with early feedback though, so fingers crossed a cheaper model is on the cards. Buy the Dyson Supersonic here from Currys PC World
Pros:
- Smart design, light weight
- Leaves hair glossier than other dryers
- Cools quickly after use, won't make you sweat
Cons:
- Seriously expensive
- Actually pretty loud

Review: Dyson Supersonic
Hair dryers are the least glamorous part of looking glamorous. They're cumbersome, their cords tangle easily, and they devour precious drawer space. The cheap $20 ones barely get the job done, while $200 "professional" models only provide marginal improvements on the same old technology.
Pros:
- A smaller, hotter, and much improved hair drying experience
- Smart design choices improve a frustrating product category in subtle yet important ways
- Magnetic attachments can be rotated or swapped easily
- Button placement prevents accidental knocks
Cons:
- Cord is bulky compared to the rest of the device
- Diffuser attachment is only so-so
- High price causes hesitation
- Sure, this product took four years to engineer and the results are fantastic
- But $400 nearly doubles the industry average for professional-grade hair dryers, and that's a big jump

Dyson Supersonic hair dryer review: The cool new gadget for your hair
If you live on Instagram and Snapchat and follow celebrities and ‘beauty influencers' chances are you have already seen the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. The ‘Iron Fuschia' colour combination is certainly unique, but what is interesting is the design and shape of this, and yes the price.

Made my hair super dry
The dryer is super cool if you're into technology and I can't live out with my Dyson vacuums however by the 3rd time I dried my hair I felt like my hair was breaking by my bangs. Even on the second heat setting it was super hot and burning my hands as I used a round brush.
Pros:
- Dries hair quickly
- Magnetic attachments are cool
Cons:
- Even lower heat setting is still kind of hot
- My hair felt like straw after 3rd use
- Seemed to damage my hair

Curly peeps this is for you!
This is the gold standard. It is expensive, but if your hair would otherwise take 4 days to dry before you can scrunch out the crunch, this is worth it. I should add I have only used this with the diffuser attachment, a must for those with curls. It would be 5 stars but the practicality of the design (ironic, given that its from a design-focused brand) is not quite deserving of more. This is because there is no loop to hang it up, and I have found that my hand covers the air intake on the handle when Im using it. But I can forgive those things, I love it!!

Dyson Supersonic review
Primarily known for products that suck – calm down, we're talking about vacuums – Dyson has also proven adept at machines that blow, too (hey now, what did we say earlier?), having refined its jet technology on its Airblade hand dryers and Hot + Cool fans.

Dyson Supersonic hair dryer review
Hair drying technology hasn't changed for around 50 years, mainly because of the bulky motors you find inside the dryers.
