A large step for the genre

As a fan of these games and having played the prior titles, this is a large step for this genre in almost every aspect. These games are polarizing though, people love them or hate them, or think they are ok. If you love them or think theyre ok then you will enjoy ths game.

Storytelling at its finest

I brought this game. Knowing the past of the company with Beyond and Heavy Rain. And wasn't disappointed. The game is set in the future where personal Androids are the normal high tech gadget to have but what happens when they break there programming and learn they have sentience and emotions.

Detroit: Become Human review

Baz, who may or may not be an AI, checks out the latest from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream.

Interesting world-building; Deep branching story lines; Impactful choices

Clunky and cliche dialogue; Thematically tactless

Detroit: Become Human (PS4)

There's no question that Detroit is Quantic Dream's strongest release so far, as Omikron and Fahrenheit have aged terribly, and it soars past both...

Choices really do matter; Astonishing visuals and soundtrack; Strong performances all round

Writing still poor in places; Some questionable scenes and themes; Minor control annoyances

Detroit: Become Human - PlayStation 4

Excellent gameplay! Very immersive. Yes, every action, every move, every choice matters! Several friends have played this game and everyone has a different experience. It has very high replay value. Don't hesitate- but this game now!

Amazing game!

Pre-ordered this game for a while after seeing early concept videos and reviews, and was not disappointed. I actually looked forward to each play through to see all the different endings and how each story played out. Fingers crossed for a sequel in the future

PlayStation 4 Detroit: Become Human DETROIT review

As it stands, this won’t be the interactive story experience that converts avid readers or film buffs to video games, particularly as it’s so light on actual gameplay. It's a valiant effort, for sure, and it's good that mainstream, big-budget games are beginning to tackle tougher issues.

Game Review: Detroit Become Human

Detroit: Become Human has been a long time coming and it's the next big hit from Quantic Dream since Beyond: Two Souls on the PS3 back in 2013, which was then released again for PS4 in 2015 along arguably my person favourite from the studio , Heavy Rain .

Three fantastic stories that entwine superbly; Great depth to multiple choice outcomes; You feel invested in all three stories; Awesome graphics and facial animation; Flow charts at the end of chapter offer worthy insight

Some clipping issues and invisible walls

Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human is a collection of contrasts. A compelling and timely story is balanced by anvil-over-the-head lack of subtlety and reliance on cliche. Amazing visuals and masterful performance capture bring the characters and future Detroit to life but are contrasted by...

Great PS4 game

I absolutely love this game. The story is brilliant and is brilliantly put together. Every decision you make impacts the story and who survives. It's not often I rate games this high, but this game is brilliant. The only negative point is the fact the game is much more expensive with Littlewoods.
