The main single-player content is very short and, if you're a Dark Souls veteran, disappointingly straightforward; Optional boss is very forgettable

If you haven't played this series, I suggest you go back to the first two before you buy this one. There are so many call backs to those two that will be more rewarding if you know what they are. I was extremely happy that I could get this game on disk, I'm old school that way sometimes.

So the game is great. However although I preordered the game in plenty of time it was more than a week after release before I got the game. I chased a couple of times & got vague responses about what was happening. So buy Dark Souls 3. Just don't buy it from Zavvi!
