If you haven't played this series, I suggest you go back to the first two before you buy this one. There are so many call backs to those two that will be more rewarding if you know what they are. I was extremely happy that I could get this game on disk, I'm old school that way sometimes.

Haven't had a game as challenging as since shadowrun on snes.

Not as good as bloodborne but as a souls game goes it's the best one yet. But these games are not for casual gamers they are for people that want a serious challenge, expect nothing less than 100 hours of playtime to see and experience what this kind of game offers.

A bit over rated, and not nearly as hard as Bloodborne was, but if you're as addicted to exploring like I am this game will give you lots to look forward to!

My Knight swings and the Lothric Wall Knight blocks. Damn, another mistake, this one opens me completely to a counter attack. I regain control and dodge, not a second too soon. After several more seconds the Knight lays dead at my feet, another victory.

A wonderful (almost) conclusion to the series. Gameplay inspired by Bloodborne, incredibly rich lore and the distilled summary of the series. A fitting end on a high note, before the feeling of recycled designs and ideas set in.

So the game is great. However although I preordered the game in plenty of time it was more than a week after release before I got the game. I chased a couple of times & got vague responses about what was happening. So buy Dark Souls 3. Just don't buy it from Zavvi!

Could have done with better co-op but the game mechanics are awesome.
