As with any game in the Souls series, you should expect to die a lot. The game's manual says as much. But if you ever expect to get through a Souls game, you have to learn from each death. Progressing in Dark Souls III really comes down to memorization.

If you haven't played this series, I suggest you go back to the first two before you buy this one. There are so many call backs to those two that will be more rewarding if you know what they are. I was extremely happy that I could get this game on disk, I'm old school that way sometimes.

So the game is great. However although I preordered the game in plenty of time it was more than a week after release before I got the game. I chased a couple of times & got vague responses about what was happening. So buy Dark Souls 3. Just don't buy it from Zavvi!

Hi all! I'm back with my first foray into the Dark Souls series and universe, and boy was it a shock even for me. It's time to brave forth for the third and final outing in Dark Souls III!

It's been awhile since I last participated in a boss fight with little to no charges left on my Estus Flask. I've become gradually infatuated with every Souls game churned out, dating all the way back to Demon's Souls . The dynamic boss fights and RPG-like elements keep my blood pumping.
