DJI Phantom 4 Pro
DJI Phantom 4 Pro is a fast-flying drone with a top speed of 72 kph that includes many pro features. It's a good fit for drone photographers that require different kinds of flight and camera controls. The maximum flight time is 28 minutes.
The return to base distance is 300 metres, which makes Phantom 4 Pro a reliable partner. In addition, the risk of in-flight collisions is minimised using front and rear collision detection.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro review – Great camera
We like the DJI Phantom 4 Pro. Particularly the Phantom 4 Pro+. It is a well built, well spec'd and easy to operate machine that produces near-pro level video and some solid still photos. We see why it is still being offered as the leader in the Phantom line of drones.

Great for my use
First of all I purchased this over the phone, so my review might not have the "verified" mark. Second I purchased this full well knowing a Phantom 5 is on the way, and will probably be released sooner rather than later.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro feels like it was designed from the ground up to be the perfect assistant for a drone photographer. Expect to pay extra for those "pro" features in the name, but fantastic automated camera functions, robust controls and a frankly ludicrous top speed make it very easy to see...
Pros:
- Camera features
- easy-to-master flight controls and upgrades on the previous generation prove that DJI knows what it's doing
Cons:
- Sticker price and investing in additional batteries means the Phantom 4 Pro doesn't come cheap

DJI Phantom 4 Pro review: DJI Phantom 4 Pro review: So you wanna be a drone photographer?
The price puts it just outside of "entry level," but the Phantom 4 Pro is a no-brainer if you're serious about drone photography. DJI Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian review: Packs a punch that's worth its cover price
DJI has revamped most of its drone series' this year. None more so than the Phantom series. We saw replacements for the Phantom 4 and a new Phantom 4 Pro . While the original Phantom 4 Pro looked very much like the original Phantom 4, the Obsidian Edition brings a new Stealth Bomber colour scheme.
Pros:
- Obsidian's dark colour makes it easy to see against sky
- footage is smooth and stable
- great feature list
- long battery life for this kind of product
Cons:
- Not as portable as a DJI Mavic Pro
- it's very expensive

DJI Phantom 4 Pro Review
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone adds additional obstacle sensors and a vastly improved camera to the already stellar Phantom 4. DJI has continued to push the capabilities of its drones forward, announcing the Phantom 4 Pro ($1,499) and Pro+ ($1,679.00 at Amazon) only months after dropping the superb Phantom 4 ($1,199.00 at DJI) on the world. The Pro has a 1-inch image sensor with four times the surface area of the Phantom 4's camera. It captures 4K footage at up to 60fps, and shoots 20MP Raw and JPG photos. It's also our Editors' Choice, as the more expensive Pro+ configuration shows that an integrated tablet can have as many drawbacks as advantages. Design The Phantom 4 Pro's ($1,449.00 at Amazon) body is essentially identical to the standard Phantom 4. It's a white quadcopter with sleek lines and a glossy finish. It measures about 7.0 by 11.5 by 11.5 inches and weighs 3.1 pounds, so you will need to register with the FAA before taking it up into the air. Like the Phantom 4, the Pro's packaging doubles as a carrying case. It's compact and certainly a practical stowing solution if you frequently work ...
Pros:
- Long-distance control
- Return-to-home
- Forward and rear obstacle detection
- Automated flight modes
- High-performance Sport mode
- 24mm lens
- Subject recognition and tracking
- 60fps 4K video
- 20MP Raw and JPG images
- 1-inch sensor camera
Cons:
- Pricey
- Side sensors limited in functionality
- Must supply smartphone or tablet for camera control

Simply Stunning All Round
I bought this after a friend showed me his Phantom 3 but recommended I look at the new Phantom 4. I bought the 4 Pro for its upgraded camera. I am a semi professional photographer and intend to seek CAA permission to use it commercially for my landscape photography.
Pros:
- Great Features
- Great Picture Quality
- Simple Controls
