DJI Osmo Action is the leading Chinese drone company DJI's first action camera. It's a natural market expansion for DJI, since drones and action cameras are complementary products. Osmo Action competes head-to-head with the GoPro Hero8 Black. Will it take market share from GoPro? Time will tell, but it retails for about $170 less and boasts advanced hardware. Hence, GoPro has a new fierce competitor in the market.
Osmo Action records video in 4K format at 60 fps (frames per second) and 100 Mbps. The framerate increases to 120 fps for 1080 format. These specs ensure that the recordings are always crisp.

Amazing alternative to a GoPro.
Amazing action camera and alternative to a GoPro. The front facing screen is fantastic and helps to frame your shots when the camera is pointed at you. The build quality is excellent.
