DJI Mavic Pro Is the Drone of the Year
The DJI Mavic Pro is a revolutionary drone in a number of ways. It folds up to about the size of a pigeon, and offers rock-steady 4K video, smooth flight and a huge array of flying features.
Pros:
- Folds into very small space for storage
- Easy to fly
- Takes great quality video
- Long wireless range
Cons:
- Some glitches in video
- Controller too small to hold tablets

DJI made a big statement launching the Mavic Pro drone. For the first time the company's best and most useful technological advances are available in a product that costs less than ￡1,000. What's more, that product is easily the most portable and user-friendly drone to date.
Pros:
- Super portable design
- lots of smart technology
- decent battery life and camera quality
Cons:
- Return to home feature and gestures didn't work reliably in testing

DJI Mavic Pro review: A powerful flying camera anyone can take anywhere
If you've been looking for a discreet, but powerful travel-friendly camera drone, look no further than the DJI Mavic Pro. There have been several kinder, gentler camera drones this year -- from the large PowerVision PowerEgg to the compact Yuneec Breeze -- but the DJI Mavic Pro is the only one to combine high performance, lots of automated flight modes and obstacle avoidance in an ultracompact body. Add in DJI's assortment of safety and ease-of-use features and you've got a drone that anyone can take anywhere.
Pros:
- The DJI Mavic Pro's compact foldable design makes it more travel friendly than any other camera drone with similar capabilities
- Its gaming-style controller is equally compact, but still has all the controls you need to fly and control the camera and it can be piloted with only an iOS or Android device
- Battery life is very good for a small quadcopter.
Cons:
- The phone mount is a little awkward to use
- Not user repairable
- Camera lens is a little narrow for landscapes.

Stunning, camera seems to be better than the Phantom 4 and its focusable
This is undoubtedly one of the best Quadcopters ever made. It's small. Agile, Easy to Fly*, Phenomenal Video Quality, Avoids mandatory registration in some countries because of its weight weight.

DJI Mavic Pro
Small drones are the next big thing. The DJI Mavic Pro ($999) joins the GoPro Karma , the Vantage Robotics Snap , and the Yuneec Breeze as the latest downsized model. It's twice the price of the Breeze, but delivers almost all of the features of DJI's top-end consumer drone, the Phantom 4 .

- Sharp, distortion-free stabilized 4K video camera
- 12MP Raw and JPG stills
- Records in portrait or landscape mode
- Compact remote control
- 23-minute flight time
- Strong operating range
- Orbit, follow, and other intelligent flight modes
Cons:
- Requires a smartphone for full experience
- Unable to take off from grass in testing
- Not as steady in strong wind as Phantom models

Very smooth handling
Worked as expected, really amazing tracking abilities and the video recording is super smooth without any jitter (that gimbal is quite something). Worth the money. Would love to get some material on different drone laws in the different countries
